Yeah sadly it wasn't great. Though mostly stopped doing game testing and moved on to other projects not associated with this channel I do wish them luck and maybe with a lot of updates (which this was in an earlier version still) it may be alright.

Glad it was helpful ☺. Though it is certainly pretty easy on rule set as its basically roll and move to a location then interact with the space (which usually is drawing a card unless its a special space it has different actions).

No worries. I went on hiatus again with the channel. Sadly wasnt getting much success after running things again for the past 3 months and Zelda came out. Mostly just wanted to help bring some attention to games in early game design times to get more attention to Indy game designers 😀.

Its pretty great so far. I did drop their steam link in the description but its still in an early phase of development so it mostly just has the demo currently with them doing updates constantly (usually 1-2 a day). If you enjoy things like Factorio or Dyson Sphere it may be fun to give a try :D

If you like automation style games (things like Factorio or Dyson Sphere) I would certainly check it out. Also the space theme of it makes it look pretty also :)

Though that is certainly fair I just kind of took each play through as having a certain set of rules. Like the playthrough before this one ran all small locations with a massive amount of inserters (Kind of the other extreme). Now this run I am just seeing how much I can do to test the waters in the other extreme and its still doing fine. Though I can easily make it about 8-9 times the current size so I still have a ways to go before I have to modify things a lot further.

Thanks for the feedback on it. Yeah been testing several things so its good to get feedback on different parts of it. Most of the games I been running on my channel last few months have been mostly Indie dev games. The hope is to get a bit more attention out there to all the smaller designers building their passion project. Truthfully oftentimes I had better experiences with many of these smaller indie dev games than I have the bigger companies just regurgitating the same slightly modified mess. My hope is I bring at least a few more people to these games 😁

It was slightly unexpected. I figured most of my game overs upto that point was bad playing on my part then he was a bit tougher (which is certainly a good thing). Overall was a pretty good challenge 😁

If it helps at all I usually play it at least a bit before the actual playthrough to reduce how bad I am at the game then proceed to still be bad 😝. Not sure if that will help narrow it down or not but thanks again for the great game so far and I look forward to what it becomes 😄

@@RundliiGamingI couldn’t reproduce the glitch but I was able to put some stops in the code to prevent the popcorn rocket from magically appearing and pushed the update to steam.

Not a problem at all :). I would still argue it would be good to get a discord going at some point as its a good way to connect with potential people that enjoy the game. Also many use it as a way to get feedback on certain elements of a game and keep folks excited for it until its released :). Mostly I just try to get a little more attention to games that are soon coming out though I don't have a huge audience maybe it will make a few more find the games :D. Will follow it up with a Facebook post in a bit.

Yeah there were several versions of it but overall its a lengthy board game while at the same time being kind of simplistic. It was first made in the earlier game days like monopoly (obviously monopoly is much older) but has a similar setup in that you roll and move but you can pick to go clockwise or counter clockwise then resolve the square. Many squares you draw a card and do what it says. Many other situations you just roll based on the particular location. That said it is a long game but I feel rule wise its not too bad. Just takes maybe a few turns to get the hang of whats going on and maybe every so often verifying rules.

Though its been a bit since I have played and have run this specific game (its not one I personally own) the game would likely have a certain number of unique dice (I think typically 5 of each) then a certain number of each of the starter dice. One way to help verify you can also see the manual and it should give a list of the types of dice it has in it and how many of each. I figured worse case as long as you have the proper starter dice for the number of players you need then you can run cards you have 5 of. It might still work out fine if it is missing some dice but I can't say if it is or not from memory.

Yes, though oftentimes in more casual play with people around like a coffee table I may lay out several different stacks for ease of getting to cards to replace used ones. Its something similar to if we play Cards Against Humanity and games along those lines.

Yeah maybe. That said like most of my videos it helped some and in the end hopefully that means more people will come into the hobby of tabletop board gaming. So even as a mess I would consider it a net positive :). Though as I tell everyone that also dislikes the way I did videos I am always a big advocate of others helping make videos for the hobby themselves also. Only benefit I got from making the channel in the first place was chatting with all sorts of folks about the games they enjoyed from the videos and those I helped learn games :).

In a lot of ways kind of similar just more art panel style. Though it could vary group to group this one seemed to get much fewer laughs and had much less replay ability. I say this as not being the biggest fan of CAH.

@@RundliiGaming it was the only thing in my knowledge I could compare it to since I haven't played many card games but that's essentially what I took from it not necessarily exactly like cards against humanity but the same premise you set up something funny everyone kind of votes on what they think's the funniest you know same as the apples to apples kind of vibe

Its a pretty good game if most of your group is more social in general. Also good for many that dont do table top gaming usually also.

Yes its fine. At the time I am pretty sure I made stacks out of habit that I do when playing at a big table. Unless something modifies an existing deck I wont but if its something like this that order doesnt matter I do it to make things flow easier.

It has a lot of similarities for sure but I think the general consensus early on from people I played both with is CAH is better but both lack long term play in that it gets boring and repetitive pretty fast. If your game group doesnt play the type of game much it may be alright for a bit at least.
